Memories of Liz
 
Liz and I first met when her daughter Katrina (Kitty) and my children, Catherine and Nick were at Beckingham Primary School.  Together with our friend Jean and her children Rachel and James, we used to get the children together in one or another’s house in the holidays.  Liz was amazing, how she ever managed to get five very different children to sit down and produce a newspaper together I shall never know! But they always had a wonderful time at her house and I remain eternally grateful.
 
We have stayed in touch ever since although she ended up in York and I am in Cheshire.  I particularly remember a lovely holiday I spent in York with a group of friends, when Liz acted as a wonderful host and tour guide.  See photo.
